Made from solid wood and completely plastic-free, these little people are designed to be completely versatile, to be included to any Montessori or open-ended play set up, added to dolls houses, or to be sorted and ordered, something we know lots of children love to do. They are key to teaching little ones the wonder of inclusivity, a super important part of a child's social development.
The play set is perfectly scaled to the Rosewood Cottage characters and the Sailway Boat. It’s an absolutely beautiful gift that will inspire hours of imaginary play.

Tender Leaf Toys wooden toys are created by the award-winning British toy designer Danielle Hanson. The wooden toys are beautiful on the outside and sustainable on the in-side. Only high-grade reclaimed wood, a by-product of the legal & sustainable rubber industry in Indonesia, are used for the toys. “I personally spend an average of 6-8 weeks a year at the factory working with the suppliers and so get to see at first hand their impressive and ethically sound working environment,” says Hanson. Furthermore, Tender Leaf has teamed up with the ‘Eden Reforestation Projects’ and is commitment to help reforest Indonesia by replanting a tree for every reclaimed tree.
