Where would you go if you had a magic carpet?
Take the journey of a lifetime and explore 19 real-life, off-limits locations… Whether you’d prefer to visit a volcano, do some supernatural sightseeing in Area 51, take a tour of the remotest island on Earth, or plunder the Secret Archives of the Vatican, the magic carpet will cover the four corners of the globe – and reveal hundreds of hidden secrets in between!
►Authors: Patrick Makin, Whooli Chen
►Reading Age: 7 – 10 Years
►Details: Hardcover | 80 pages | 31 x 25.6 cm
►About the Authors: Patrick Makin's first job as a writer was as a war correspondent in Yemen. When he decided that being shot at isn't all it's cracked up to be, he moved to Bristol and cut his teeth working as a script-editor for Aardman Animations. No matter what the subject, he likes to bring a light touch to everything he writes.
Whooli Chen works with a delicate palette and sensitive painterly layers that takes whimsical illustration to another realm. Whooli studied an MA in Illustration at the University of the Arts London, where she found a muse in an urban street fox.
