This Grapat toy set includes wooden 6 Nins, 6 mates, i.e. wooden cups, and 6 wooden coins in a rainbow of matching colours with a cloth bag. Immerse yourself into the world of the Nins with this beautiful open-ended wooden toy set from Grapat. Each Nin peg doll fits perfectly into its corresponding colour cup and has a matching wooden coin too. A wonderfully warm and tactile toy set designed with no specific game in mind so children are free to play as they wish. Young children will simply enjoy touching, feeling and playing with their new Nin character friends, taking them in and out of the cups. Games can develop into counting, sorting, colour matching or hiding but also more complex ideas such as moods and relasionships. The Grapat Story: Catalonia based Joguines Grapat was founded by husband and wife team Casiana & Jordi Grapat who were inspired by watching their young daughter play freely with very few, simple toys that she had at her disposal. They realised that when children are given freedom to imagine, they will enter a world of their own creation. Inspired by this experience with their daughter, they started to create wooden toys such as the Nins® (Catalan for 'children'), a beautiful range of traditional Waldorf toy peg dolls, that allow children to play freely without rules or structure, unhindered by pre-determined ideas or games.
