Grapat Lucky Lucky Surprise Box – Fourth Edition wooden play set for open-ended, loose-parts and small-world play. The 4th Edition hides a hand-painted mini collection of Grapat wooden pieces inside a pocket-sized matchbox – perfect for on-the-go storytelling, mindful screen-free moments, and Montessori-inspired invitations to play. Each sealed box is different, so the excitement starts before the lid is even off.
There are 15 themed selections in circulation and every one feels like a tiny world to discover: perhaps friendly gnomes, perhaps curious little creatures, always something that sparks imagination. The lovely tactile feel and rich colours encourage sorting, counting, scene-building and role play, and they mix beautifully with the Grapat range you already own, from mandala pieces to Nins and rings. Finished with water-based colour, the natural grain shows through so no two treasures are exactly alike.
Keep one in your bag for cafés, travel and quiet time after school; add them to tinker trays, nature tables and seasonal shelves; build story starters for playrooms and classrooms. Contents vary – and that’s the magic – but the play possibilities are reliably endless

►The Grapat Story
Catalonia based Joguines Grapat was founded by husband and wife team Casiana & Jordi Grapat who were inspired by watching their young daughter play freely with very few, simple toys that she had at her disposal. They realised that when children are given freedom to imagine, they will enter a world of their own creation. Inspired by this experience with their daughter, they started to create wooden toys such as the Nins® (Catalan for 'children'), a beautiful range of traditional Waldorf toy peg dolls, that allow children to play freely without rules or structure, unhindered by pre-determined ideas or games.
