Catalonia based Joguines Grapat was founded by husband and wife team Casiana & Jordi Grapat who were inspired by watching their young daughter play freely with very few, simple toys at that she had her disposal. They realised that when children are given freedom to imagine, they will enter a world of their own creation. Inspired by this experience with their daughter, they started to create wooden toys such as the Nins® (Catalan for 'children'), a beautiful range of traditional Waldorf toy peg dolls, that allow children to play freely without rules or structure, unhindered by pre-determined ideas or games.
