►About the Authors: Pippa Goodhart has written over a hundred and fifty books for children and also writes under the name of Laura Owen when writing the Winnie the Witch storybooks. Pippa's historical middle grade fiction includes The Great Sea Dragon Discovery which won the Historical Association's Young Quills Award. She lives in Cambridge.
Emily Rand studied illustration at Camberwell College of Arts and the London College of Communication. After graduating she worked with children and young people teaching art and running creative workshops in schools, galleries and museums. Emily has illustrated books for Tate Publishing, Flying Eye and Macmillan Children's Books among others, and was nominated for the Illustrator's Award at Bologna Children's Book Fair. She lives in London.
