►About the Authors: Martin Haake has created illustrated works for The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Penguin Books, and Volkswagen. His illustrations have earned him several awards, including the German Art Directors Club’s silver medal, of which he is a two-time recipient. He lives in Berlin, Germany.
Judith Homoki was born in the port city of Bremen, and at the age of 15 she set off for distant shores and lived as an exchange student in a small town on the coast of Ecuador. Today she writes travel and children's books and works as a freelance creative and copywriter. She lives in Berlin with the illustrator Martin Haake and their two sons.
