Bingo-style fun meets first maths skills in this bright numbers, colours and shapes game for ages 2 years and over. Each child gets a sturdy bingo board, then takes turns picking up a card and checking if it matches a space on their grid – if it does, on goes a token and the race is on to complete a line and call out. As they play, children are building picture–word associations, starting to recognise numbers, colours and simple shapes, and practising turn-taking and listening skills in every round. It’s easy to set up and quick to understand, so it works just as well for a calm five minutes after creche as it does for a full family games session at the weekend. At BeoVERDE, we love pairing it with other favourites like the Briarpatch First 100 Words Activity Game and the Nosy Crow My First 123 board book, to create a little home learning corner that makes early number and shape practice feel like a treat rather than a task. Designed for 2 to 4 players, it’s a lovely way to add more chatty, screen-free play into the day.

Many of their games and puzzles are inspired by much-loved books and characters – including First 100 – so children can step straight into familiar story worlds while practising new skills. With a strong track record for thoughtful design, quality materials and the use of vegetable and soy-based inks and recycled materials in many products, Briarpatch offers playful learning experiences that parents, carers and educators around the world feel good about choosing.
