Welcome to My Little Town, a magnetic maze drawn by Ingela P. Arrhenius. With the magnetic pen, a child steers coloured balls through the streets: a green one into the tree, a red one into the flower, two more into the wheels of the bus, and all of them round the roundabout, which has to be turned to let them through.
The balls sit safely under a clear window, so nothing gets lost and the maze goes in a bag for the café, the car or the waiting room. It is flat, light and quiet.
Guiding a ball with a magnet takes a steady hand, a bit of planning and plenty of concentration, and the town is full of things to name and colours to match on the way round.
